Server 

Job Summary:

As an employee of Regency Retirement Resorts, you are a member of a highly energetic team, performing food service and cleaning activities at Regency Retirement Resorts within established guidelines and procedures as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintains a level of conduct, personal grooming and appearance that meets the standards of the Resort.
  2. Performs the service of food and beverage for all meals, events and catering functions.
  3. Prepares and serves certain food items such as those needed for the breakfast meals.
  4. Performs the setting up, clearing and take down of all Food and Beverage areas for all meals, events and catering functions.
  5. Cleans and washes dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils and returns them to their proper storage area.

Cook

Job Summary:

As an employee of Regency Retirement Resorts, you are a member of a highly energetic team, performing duties in the preparation and delivery of food service to the Residents of Regency Retirement Resorts within established guidelines and procedures as assigned. The Cook performs such duties such as planning, preparing, storing and servicing menu items, ordering and receiving supplies and supervising Prep Cooks and Dishwashers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintains a level of conduct, personal grooming and appearance that meets the standards of the Resort.
  2. Prepares assigned food items by following established menus, recipes and quantity quotas, determining ingredients and quantities required and assembling ingredients and equipment required for cooking.
  3. Plans preparation and cooking schedule to minimize time between completion of cooking and serving.
  4. Cooks assigned food items such as soups, sauces, salads, starches, meats, fish, poultry, vegetables and desserts by methods/procedures such as roasting, frying, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling, baking and bulk re-thermalization; tests food items for palatability and temperature and adjusts accordingly.
  5. Carves food items such as meat and poultry and controls portioning of food items to ensure recipe yield meets assigned quantity quotas.

Dishwasher 

 Job Summary:

The primary duties include collecting and properly sanitizing dishes, glasses, and cutlery, helping with food preparation, and keeping the kitchen clean.

Duties and responsibilities:

A Dishwasher has daily duties and responsibilities essential to keeping a restaurant or other food service establishment working at an optimal pace. Some common duties for a Dishwasher include:

  1. Collect all dishes, cutlery, and glasses
  2. Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before further use
  3. Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before use
  4. Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash
  5. Keep cupboards and storage area clean and organized

Housekeeper 

Job Summary:

As an employee of Regency Retirement Resorts, you are a member of a highly energetic team, performing housekeeping and cleaning activities in all areas of the Resort within established guidelines and procedures as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintains a level of conduct, personal grooming and appearance that meets the standards of the Resort.
  2. Cleans, disinfects, vacuums, dusts and washes Resident’s suites, public areas, offices, and other areas as assigned.
  3. Cleans and disinfects common and staff washrooms.
  4. Vacuums all common areas.
  5. Responds to unscheduled cleaning needs due to the nature of the Resident population.

Concierge

Job Summary:

As an employee of Regency Retirement Resorts, you are a member of a highly energetic team, supervising and performing duties encompassing hosting, housekeeping, laundry and the security and well being of the Residents within established guidelines and procedures assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Sets and maintains an example of conduct, personal grooming and appearance that will set a standard for all staff to emulate.
  2. Respond to Resident emergency alarms, determining whether a situation is an emergency and if calling an ambulance is required.
  3. Maintain and monitor the front door security and ensure all visitors are logged or signed in as required.
  4. Act as a host/hostess and reception for the building, answering telephone in an appropriate manner. Books guest meals, in house appointments and records incidents.
  5. Create a positive, friendly atmosphere communicating and interacting with Residents in a professional manner.
